Fall Fashion: Thanksgiving Outfits #2 + #3

Thanksgiving is tomorrow! I’m so excited to see my family and eat some delicious food. In preparation for the holiday, I wanted to share two more last minute outfit ideas with you. Hope you all feel inspired!

Thanksgiving Outfit Inspiration #2: Fringe Top

Like I said in my last post, I try to wear flowy and comfortable clothes for holiday dinners. Aren’t holidays all about being comfortable and happy? But that doesn’t mean style gets thrown completely out the window.

Tops with fringe on them are bohemian-chic, and usually very flowy. Even with an empire waist, like this one from Pink Ice, there is still plenty of room for food beneath that top. The knit and fringe details add visual appeal to your outfit. I would pair this shirt with a pair of basic black leggings, both for contrast and for the stretchy waistband. Throw on a pair of over the knee boots on top for a bit of polish and edge. I love a cognac-colored boot with a lace back detail to play off the more natural color of the knit top. I would also add a scarf and purse with similar blue hues to add a pop of color and detail to an otherwise bland outfit.

Thanksgiving Outfit Inspiration #2: Sweater Dress

One last option I’d like to share with you all is a sweater dress. They’re cozy and comfy, and something with a fit and flare silhouette is perfect for Thanksgiving. To keep your outfit from being just another dress look, add a collared shirt. This adds some polish and interest to the ensemble. For something with short sleeves, use a collared tank top. If your dress has longer sleeves, use a long sleeve collared shirt and roll up the cuffs. To keep this look fun, but still comfortable, finish off the outfit with a pair of chunky heels, a metallic cuff bracelet, and a quirky purse.

xx,

Toni

Winter Style: Holiday Party Look #3: Ripped Black Jeans

Hey, guys! Merry Christmas Eve to everyone celebrating today! Here’s another cool look for a holiday party! Hope you guys enjoy!

Ripped Black Jeans

As you guys may remember from my Winter Mood Board post, I am obsessed with ripped jeans! They’re so cool and they stand out so much. For this outfit, I like black ripped jeans because they’re sleeker and more high fashion-y. Also, it’s easier to make them look great for any occasion!

White Blouse

Pair the edgy, shredded jeans with something softer and lighter. A white or cream flowy blouse plays up the contrast perfectly and makes for a really standout ensemble.

Tan Booties

To keep your black jeans standing out, pair your outfit with tan booties. Tan is a neutral color, so it won’t distract from any part of your outfit.

Accessories

To finish off the outfit, I would pair it with a long, thin silver or gold necklace, a cuff in the same color, and a tan bag. This will add some needed shine and finish to your outfit. It will pull the whole thing together so that your outfit is fashionable and functional!

Winter Style: Holiday Party Look #1: Lace Dress

Happy Holidays everyone! I love how festive the holiday season is, and all the great clothes I can wear! Here’s a fun and festive outfit that’s great for a holiday get-together!

Lace Dress

I’ve been loving lace this season: It’s classy and pretty, but can also be totally fun. For this look, I would look for something that’s more loose fitting as opposed to a super tight bodycon dress: It just makes the look feel more festive and classic. I also love something in a festive color like burgundy or crimson, but a classic color like black or champagne is great too.

Sheer Black Stockings

It’s freezing in the winter, so stockings are a must to keep your legs warm! Something in a sheer black works well with your dress, but doesn’t distract from it. Make sure the stockings are plain and not lace or dotted so they don’t clash with your dress!

Shoes

For this outfit, I would go with a black suede bootie. Whether you choose something heeled or flat is your choice, just find something that’s chic and comfortable!

Accessories

I think this outfit calls for some shiny, glitzy silver accessories, like a headband and a cuff. I’d also pair it with a bright purse. If you’re not feeling the headband, I think this outfit would also look adorable with a black fedora.
